The eldest of four sons of Guru Gobind Singh, was born to Mata Jito ji (also known as Mata Sundari ji) at Paonta on 11 February 1687.

Sarbat Da Bhala is an organisation committed to practising the Sikh way of life. Through Simran (worship of God) and Seva (selfless service) SDBJ aims to develop the spirituality of its members and enrich the wider community. SDBJ provides the opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about and practise Sikhism.
